ALDER SPRINGS VINEYARD

This Mourvèdre hails from the renowned Alder Spring Vineyard located in far northern Mendocino County, California. The unique coastal influence and steep sandstone slopes contribute to a balanced wine with vibrant acidity.

VINIFICATION

The grapes for this 2024 Chenin Blanc were harvested September 20th, 2024. After a two week fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was racked into two different vessels: a twice-used French oak barrel and a stainless steel drum. They were aged for 6 months. The final blend consists of 50% stainless steel and 50% French oak.

TASTING NOTES

You can expect aromas of pear, quince, dried citrus peel, ginger, chamomile and lanolin.
